What to Expect
All Kick It In the Park sites are located at City of Los Angeles Recreation & Parks facilities, which are ADA accessible. The below information applies to all Kick It In the Park sites.
Arriving to the Event
- An accessible route will be available from designated parking, drop-off, and transit sites.
- An ADA drop-off/pick-up zone will be designated and marked at each site.
- ADA parking will be available at each site on a first come, first served basis. We recommend taking transit (opens in new tab) if possible.
Viewing Areas
- An accessible viewing area will be reserved at all sites where the main viewing area is not fully accessible.
- Guests requiring seating should plan to bring their own chair or blanket.
Activities
- Vendor, activity, and information booths will be accessible along an accessible path.
- Some youth activities may be on grass, but will be placed as close to the accessible route as possible.
- Possible activities include food vendors, crafts, inflatables, soccer clinics, giveaways, and trivia. These will vary by location and day.
Restrooms
- ADA restrooms will be available at all event sites.
Communication Accessibility
The City is committed to ensuring all guests can fully participate in the experience.
- Captioning will be provided on screen for all match screenings.
- Sign Language Interpretation will be provided for official speeches and some programming — but not all programming. To request interpretation for a specific event, please follow the accommodation request instructions below.
